Yesterday in Lviv a three-way agreement about a collaboration between Lviv city council, the fund “Effective management” and a leading international consulting company Monitor Group was signed. As in the report of the fund “Effective management” is marked, within the framework of this agreement the project of Lviv' economic development will be realized.
“In accordance with the signed agreement, we begin a collaboration with the fund “Effective management” and with a company Monitor Group on the topic of the increasing of Lviv' competitiveness. Our partners own a tool which will enable expressly to define priorities of city' development and to go forward successfully,” - declared Andriy Sadoviy on the ceremony of agreement' concluding.
For realization of the project the fund appealed to front-rank world experience. In particular the company Monitor Group, which developed strategies of economic development in 58 countries, was selected on the tender basis.
The executive committee of Lviv city council by its decision gave the permission to the enterprise with the 100% of foreign investments "Billa-Ukraine" to begin planning of supermarket situated in Hetman Ivan Mazepa St. (near a house ¹ 23).
In obedience to the decision of executive committee a detailled design should be developed by the licensed project organization and the basic data on planning of supermarket should be co-ordinated.
An enterprise with the foreign investments "Billa-Ukraine" is created in 1998 by an austrian company Billa, the doughter-company of German auction group Rewe. The first Billa's supermarket is opened in Ukraine in February 2000 in Kiev. Today a network is counted by 10 supermarkets in Ukraine: three in Kiev, two in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv, and one in Zaporizhia, Dniprodzerzhinsk and Sumy. The auction area of supermarkets is varied from 400 sq.m to 2 000 sq.m.

The general volume of investments into the projects of Lviv region will make over 15 milliard Uan. Such projrcts were presented within the framework of VIIIth Lviv international economic forum. Among the strategic projects of the region which have a national value there are a reconstruction of international air-port «Lviv», alteration of a transport highway «Krakovets'-Lviv-Brody», building a new stadium in Lviv and also building and reconstruction of hotels for the championship Euro-2012.
The key projects of investments which were presented within the framework of Forum belong to priority industries for investing in Lviv region and are the most valuable projects according to the national scale. For instance, the reconstruction of international air-port «Lviv» foresees multiplying the capacity to serve in 2012 up to 1980 passengers per hour and the possibility to adopt the air ships of type Boeing 737-800.
For building of a new stadium in Lviv the volume of investments is to be 500 million UAH. The stadium is expected to contain more than 33 000 audience.
Volume of investments in alteration of a key transport highway «Krakovets'-Lviv-Brody» makes about 5 milliards of UAH. This highway is the part of European transport corridor ¹ 3: Berlin – Drezden – Wroclaw – Krakiv – Lviv – Kyiv – Moscow and the first concession autobahn on the territory of Ukraine.
Among other important for Lviv investment projects is building of the railway highway «European railway» and multifunction suburban station complex.
Lviv region sold the land plot for building a new small town there during an auction for a record price. About it reported today in an interview Mykola Kmit', the head of Lviv regional administration. According to his words the site was sold with the price of 70 million Uan at the auction which took place today in the morning. The official explained that it is planned to build there a new small town, so-called "New Lviv".
“It will be a copy of the historical center of Lviv, but in modern execution. "New Lviv" will be so-called city-satellit,” - he underlined, adding that a small town will be built in Lysenychi village near Lviv. The total area of small town will make 50 hectares, and the cost of earth for 1 are will make more than $3 thousands. A city will be counted for 20 thousands of habitants. It is planned to be realized in 5 years.
By words of Mykola Kmit' Italian fund finances the project. A total worth of it is 1 milliard 400 million euro.

The Estonian company Bauhof rolls up the activity in Ukraine.
Right behind development companies retailers began to go out of the Ukrainian market.
As "Komersant-Ukraine" edition reports, in November the Ukrainian branch will be closed by the Estonian DIY-network of Bauhof.
Retailers, who planned to 2013 to open 16 building supermarkets in Ukraine, gave up expansion through crises: financial in Europe and political in Ukraine. It is linked also with a world financial crisis, and with instability of political situation in the country. Bauhof possibly will return to Ukraine, but not earlier than in one and a half or two years.
